The ZDR6DP2-4X/150YM pressure reducing valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth and belongs to the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series. It limits and stabilizes downstream pressure in hydraulic automation circuits. Being a 3-way direct operated valve, it diverts excess flow to tank once the set pressure is reached. The nominal size 6 interface supports compact manifolds and minimizes installation footprint. A mounting pattern conforming to ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 aligns the ports with standard NG6 subplates for quick integration. Pressure adjustment is made through a sleeve with a hexagon head that is protected by a cap, allowing easy setting changes while preventing tampering. The internal pilot supply with an external drain isolates pilot flow from back pressure, improving response accuracy. Pressure reduction occurs in channel P1, which determines the flow path inside the manifold. The valve withstands an inlet pressure of 350 bar, limits the secondary side to 150 bar, and tolerates return-line counter pressures up to 160 bar.

A peak flow rate of 50 l/min allows the valve to serve medium-capacity actuators without excessive pressure loss at typical machine speeds. NBR seals provide compatibility with mineral-oil hydraulics and resist swelling within the stated temperature range. The cleanliness requirement of ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 limits solid contamination to protect the precision sleeve and spool fit. The body can be mounted in any position, giving designers flexibility when space constraints force creative manifold placement. An integrated pressure gauge port lets technicians verify the reduced pressure during commissioning and diagnostic checks. Ambient temperature limits from −30 °C to 80 °C cover unheated outdoor equipment and hot industrial environments. The combination of the defined flow capacity and contamination class supports long service intervals. All listed features deliver steady secondary pressure in mobile or stationary hydraulic systems that require compact control elements.
