The ZDR6DP1-4X/210YMV/12 pressure reducing valve from Bosch Rexroth belongs to the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series. It is intended to maintain a stable secondary circuit pressure in hydraulic automation systems. The valve is adjusted with a rotary knob so operators can set the secondary pressure at 210 bar. Pressure reduction occurs at port P, while any build-up at port T is limited to 160 bar to protect the return line. The design uses internal pilot oil supply so the control oil is taken from the inlet, and external pilot oil return to keep pilot flow from heating the main circuit. Nominal size 6 keeps the envelope compact and matches ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 subplates that are secured with M5 ISO 4762-10.9 screws.
The unit works with inlet pressures up to 350 bar and handles flows to 50 L/min, supporting medium-power circuits. FKM sealing allows operation with fluids up to 80 °C and resists common hydraulic oils. A cleanliness level of ISO 4406 20/18/15 is required to avoid spool sticking. A G 1/4 pressure gauge port lets technicians monitor the reduced line without removing the valve. There is no integrated check valve, so reverse flow must be managed externally. The compact body offers a dedicated port for the gauge yet omits the check valve to minimize pressure drop. These features, combined with the rated mounting interface, permit the valve to provide consistent pressure control in manifolds where space and thermal limits are critical.
