It is direct operated, so the control spool reacts directly to pilot oil without a separate amplifier stage. A rotary knob on the cover adjusts the reduced pressure, allowing on-site tuning while the system is running. The valve installs as a sandwich plate between subplate and manifold blocks, integrating with the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 port pattern to keep pipework minimal. Internal pilot oil supply delivers control oil from the inlet gallery, and an external pilot oil return routes excess pilot flow to tank to prevent cover pressure rise. The nominal size 6 flow paths handle up to 50 l/min, and the inlet side withstands 350 bar so it can connect directly to high-pressure pump lines.
Secondary pressure is limited to 210 bar at the P reduction port, giving actuators a fixed supply even when the pump pressure fluctuates. The design tolerates counter pressure on the secondary gallery up to 160 bar, maintaining stability in circuits with back-pressure accumulators. A G1/4 gauge port, machined to a depth of 12 mm, accepts pressure transducers or test gauges for commissioning and service checks. There is no built-in check valve, so reverse flow must be blocked by external components when required. NBR seals are fitted to all interfaces to suit mineral hydraulic oils and provide reliable leakage control over a wide temperature band. These characteristics complete the functional profile of the valve and support consistent performance in stacked directional control assemblies.
