The ZDR6DP1-4X/210YM valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series and serves to control downstream pressure in hydraulic automation circuits. It is built as a sandwich plate valve, enabling direct stacking between a subplate and directional valve sections without extra piping. The unit conforms to the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 porting pattern so that it mates with standard NG6 manifolds. A nominal size of 6 limits internal flow paths and keeps the assembly compact for tight machine layouts. Pressure is adjusted through a rotary knob, allowing operators to set outlet pressure quickly during commissioning or maintenance. The pressure reduction takes place in the P channel, sending regulated flow to the system’s working lines. The pilot stage uses internal supply with external return, which eliminates an extra pressure line while keeping pilot oil free of backpressure. It tolerates inlet pressures up to 350 bar and maintains a secondary pressure of 210 bar for consistent actuator performance.

The design omits a check valve, so reverse flow must be managed elsewhere in the circuit. Rated flow capacity is 50 l/min, supporting medium-sized cylinders and motor loops without excessive pressure drop. Counterpressure at port T can reach 160 bar, allowing the valve to operate reliably even with elevated tank line pressures. System fluid must meet ISO 4406 cleanliness class 20/18/15 to prevent wear on the valve internals and maintain response accuracy. NBR sealing elements provide compatibility with standard mineral oil fluids and resist common operating temperatures. Four ISO 4762-M5-10.9 mounting screws secure the valve to the manifold, ensuring leak-free joints under full pressure load. A G1/4 pressure gauge port gives technicians a convenient location to verify the reduced pressure during setup or troubleshooting. The combination of flow rating and backpressure capability helps maintain stability in circuits with sequential actuator operations.
