The ZDR6DP0-4X/40YMVW80 valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series. It is intended to maintain a stable downstream pressure in hydraulic automation systems by throttling supply flow to a preset level. A sandwich plate design permits the unit to be stacked between other modular elements, simplifying manifold layouts. The nominal size of 6 defines the internal flow passages and matches compact machines. With a porting pattern of ISO 4401-03-02-0-05, the valve mounts directly on common NG06 subplates without extra adapters. Pressure is reduced in the P channel, and an internal pilot oil supply draws control fluid from that same inlet, while an external pilot return line sends pilot oil to tank for predictable relief. The assembly endures an input pressure up to 350 bar and limits the secondary circuit to 315 bar. A maximum flow rate of 50 l/min can pass without exceeding performance limits. A G1/4 pressure gauge port with a 12 mm seating depth allows accurate service measurements.

Backflow protection is not built in because the model is supplied without a check valve, so circuits that demand reverse isolation must add a separate element. Counter pressure in the T(y) port may reach 160 bar, a rating that guides tank line design and prevents unintended shifts. System cleanliness must not exceed ISO 4406 20/18/15 to avoid spool sticking and premature wear. FKM seals are fitted to resist high temperature and chemically aggressive hydraulic media, extending service intervals in demanding environments. The plate contains no locating hole, therefore alignment on the subplate relies solely on mounting bolts and dowels provided by the manifold.
