The ZDR6DB3-4X/75YM valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth in the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series. It reduces pressure in secondary branches of hydraulic systems to stabilize actuator loads. The unit is supplied in size 6. Sandwich-plate mounting allows it to be inserted between a subplate and a directional valve without extra piping, and the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 porting pattern aligns the flow paths. Four working ports support the usual P, T, A, and B connections while mechanical actuation keeps the design independent of electrical pilots. Pressure is set through a lockable rotary knob with an integral scale to simplify repeatable adjustments on the machine. An internal pilot oil supply draws control flow from the inlet passage, and an external pilot oil return sends spent oil directly to tank to avoid back-pressure on the control stage.
The secondary circuit can be limited to 75 bar, and the valve tolerates up to 350 bar on the primary side during operation. A maximum flow capacity of 50 l/min is available, whereas counter-pressure at port T may reach 160 bar without upsetting regulation. Pressure is reduced in port B, making that line operate at the adjusted value. The design omits a check valve, so reverse flow is not blocked and must be considered in piping layouts. NBR seals provide compatibility with common mineral oils, and the permitted oil cleanliness is ISO 4406 (c) 20/18/15 to protect the throttling edges.
