It is a direct-operated pressure reducing unit that maintains downstream pressure in hydraulic automation circuits. With a nominal size of 6, the flow paths match compact subplate layouts, while pressure reduction occurs in channel P so inlet pressure is throttled before reaching sensitive actuators. The valve limits secondary pressure to 25 bar, permitting safe operation of low-pressure branches even when the main supply reaches the maximum input pressure of 350 bar. It can pass up to 50 L/min without instability, and the design tolerates counterpressure in port T of up to 160 bar so return line surges do not disturb regulation.
Installation uses a sandwich plate format that suits stack assemblies following the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 porting pattern and the NFPA D03 interface, allowing direct stacking between directional valves and subplates. Pilot oil is taken internally and returned externally through port Y, and the extraction point is port B, ensuring predictable pilot flow paths. A G1/4 pressure gauge port is provided for on-site verification of the reduced pressure. Setting is performed with a lockable knob with a scale so maintenance crews can record exact values, and no check valve is fitted, which keeps the pressure build-up behavior linear in both flow directions. The hydraulic cleanliness target is ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 to protect the precision edges and maintain response time.
