The ZDR6DB2-4X/25YM pressure reducing valve belongs to the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series and is produced by Bosch Rexroth for hydraulic automation circuits. It is built as a sandwich plate valve with nominal size 6 so users can stack it between subplates and directional valves to obtain a regulated downstream pressure. Pressure is adjusted through a sleeve with a hexagon and a protective cap, enabling secure setting changes during service. The interface matches ISO 4401-03-02-0-05, aligning its port pattern with common CETOP 03 manifolds. Pressure enters through port P and pilot oil is taken from port B while the pilot oil returns externally, allowing flexible line routing. There is no internal check valve, and the body is manufactured without locating holes, so positioning relies on the mounting bolts alone.
The inlet side withstands a maximum operating pressure of 350 bar while the secondary circuit is limited to 25 bar to prevent actuator overloads. Counter pressure up to 160 bar can be carried on the return line without affecting regulation accuracy. The unit passes up to 50 l/min, supporting medium-flow servo or proportional systems. A G1/4 pressure gauge port with a depth of 12 mm is provided so technicians can monitor the reduced pressure directly at the valve. Sealing is handled by NBR elastomers to suit mineral oil fluids used in industrial power units. Flow stability is maintained across the whole range when mounted in manifolds that observe the specified port pattern.
