The ZDR6DB2-4X/210YM/12 pressure reducing valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth as part of the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series. Designed for hydraulic automation, it directly lowers pressure in a branch circuit to protect sensitive actuators. Being a direct-operated pressure reducing model, it reacts quickly to inlet fluctuations. Its nominal size 6 defines passage dimensions suitable for compact manifolds, while the sandwich plate mounting style lets the valve be inserted between subplates without extra piping. An ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 interface aligns the ports with standard CETOP 3 patterns. Pressure is controlled at port B so downstream components receive the required level. The secondary pressure is preset to 210 bar, and the unit accepts up to 350 bar at the inlet, letting it work on high-pressure supply lines.
Counter pressure at port T(Y) may reach 160 bar, so return lines can carry moderate back-pressure without affecting regulation accuracy. Pilot oil is taken internally and returned externally, which simplifies supply while avoiding contamination of the main flow. An adjustment sleeve with a hexagon head and a protective cap allows precise setting changes while preventing accidental movement. The spring chamber drains externally to port T(Y) to keep the control spring free from fluid forces. The valve is supplied without a check valve, permitting reverse flow when required by the circuit. A maximum flow rate of 50 l/min defines the throughput the valve can regulate without exceeding permissible pressure losses.
