The ZDR6DB2-4X/150YMV pressure reducing valve is built by Bosch Rexroth and belongs to the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series. It is applied in hydraulic automation to regulate pressure in channel P so downstream actuators receive a stable value even if the inlet varies. The valve mounts as a sandwich plate and conforms to the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 porting pattern, allowing direct stacking between other size 6 elements. Internal pilot oil supply simplifies piping, while an external pilot oil return prevents back-pressure from influencing the control spring. The housing can withstand a maximum operating pressure of 350 bar, and the secondary circuit is limited to 150 bar to protect sensitive components.
Pressure setting is carried out through a hex sleeve with a protective cap that guards against accidental adjustment. The design omits a check valve, so reverse flow must be handled by external circuitry. FKM seals provide compatibility with mineral oils and elevated temperatures. The required fluid cleanliness is ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 to prevent spool wear. The valve handles up to 50 l/min, matching medium flow service lines. The counter pressure at port T is limited to 160 bar, ensuring the drain path does not disturb regulation. Pilot extraction is taken from port B which keeps the control line separate from the main flow. There is no locating hole in the body, so plate alignment depends on the mounting bolts.
