Its nominal size 6 keeps envelope dimensions small for compact power units. Sandwich plate mounting fits directly between subplates, and the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 porting pattern ensures alignment with standardized manifold passages. Pressure reduction is carried out at port B so auxiliary circuits can operate at a controlled level. The secondary pressure rating of 150 bar defines the maximum outlet pressure the unit maintains. The valve accepts supply lines up to 350 bar in version B, allowing use on high-pressure pumps. A maximum flow of 50 l/min supports medium flow branches without inducing excessive pressure drop. Pilot oil is taken internally and returned externally, which eliminates extra pilot lines on the supply side and simplifies plumbing.
An external leakage oil drain via port T(Y) keeps pilot and case flow from building backpressure on the control spring, and the design tolerates up to 160 bar at that drain port. Pressure setting is modified through a sleeve with hexagon and cap, type 2, giving technicians a protected adjustment point. The design omits a check valve, so reverse flow is not permitted through the reduction channel. A G1/4 pressure gauge port offers a direct location for pressure measurement, and the internal hex size SW6 assists when tightening the gauge plug. NBR seals provide compatibility with common mineral-based hydraulic fluids. The required oil cleanliness class of ISO 4406 (C) 20/18/15 limits particle contamination to prolong spool life and maintain accurate regulation. These elements combine to give stable pressure control in circuits that must withstand cyclic load changes.
