The ZDR6DB2-43/150-100YM valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series. It serves hydraulic automation tasks by holding a selected downstream pressure in branch circuits. The unit employs a direct-operated pressure reducing design for quick reaction to load changes. A secondary pressure stage of 150 bar defines the controlled outlet limit, while the inlet side can accept up to 350 bar. Internal pilot oil supply simplifies piping, and the external pilot oil return avoids contamination of the tank line. The valve mounts as a sandwich plate element, so it can be stacked between subplates without extra tubing. Nominal size 6 passages match compact manifold layouts, and the pressure is set through a sleeve with hexagon that accommodates standard wrenches.
Maximum flow capability is 50 l/min, allowing the valve to regulate medium-size actuator circuits without excessive pressure drop. Counter pressure at port T may reach 160 bar, so back-pressure effects are considered during circuit design. The body tolerates fluids up to 800 mm²/s viscosity and 80 °C temperature, giving flexibility with different hydraulic oils. A G1/4 pressure gauge port lets technicians read the reduced pressure directly adjacent to the working port. Connections follow the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 pattern, ensuring interchange with other size 03 manifold components. No integral check valve is included, so reverse flow must be handled externally. NBR seals are fitted to provide compatibility with conventional mineral oil based fluids.
