The ZDR6DA7-4X/25Y pressure reducing valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series. It stabilizes branch line pressure in hydraulic automation and is direct operated for short response times. The valve body corresponds to size 6, and pressure is adjusted by a rotary knob with a graduated scale that helps repeat settings on the machine. The secondary pressure is limited to 25 bar, while the inlet side of version A can withstand 315 bar. Pressure reduction occurs in port A, and pilot oil is drawn internally with an external return path to keep heat out of the main flow. The unit installs as a sandwich plate between manifolds so stack height stays minimal.
The interface follows the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 porting pattern and is clamped with four M5 ISO 4762-10.9 screws. The design accommodates flow rates up to 50 l/min, and back pressure at port T is permitted up to 160 bar. A check valve between A2 and A1 allows reverse flow when upstream pressure falls. A G1/4 connection is provided for a pressure gauge to simplify commissioning. All dynamic seals are NBR to suit petroleum-based fluids, and the housing is supplied without a locating hole so positioning is set by the mounting hardware.
