The ZDR6DA3-4X/75Y/12 valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth as part of the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series. It is a pressure reducing, direct-operated element that keeps downstream pressure consistent in automated hydraulic circuits. The nominal size 6 layout limits envelope dimensions while still allowing adequate flow. A porting pattern of ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 lets the valve mount on standard subplates without adapters. Input pressure up to 315 bar can be accepted, and the unit delivers a controlled secondary pressure not exceeding 75 bar at port A, so actuators receive stable load pressure. A lockable rotary knob with a scale permits repeatable setting of the desired reduced pressure, and an integrated check valve stops backflow into the supply line.
Internal supply with external return of pilot oil simplifies plumbing and keeps the pilot stage free of tank line fluctuations. The valve passes up to 50 l/min, a capacity adequate for medium-duty cylinders and motors. Counter pressure at port T(y) can reach 160 bar without disturbing regulation, so the unit can be placed in circuits where several functions share the same return. Reliable operation is maintained between hydraulic fluid temperatures of −30 °C and +80 °C and through a viscosity range of 10 to 800 mm²/s, covering most mineral hydraulic oils. NBR sealing ensures fluid compatibility within these limits and maintains leak-tight performance over service life.
