The ZDR6DA3-4X/75Y pressure reducing valve is built by Bosch Rexroth for the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series. It maintains a stable secondary circuit pressure in hydraulic automation systems where precise control is required. This direct operated design reacts quickly to inlet fluctuations, making it suitable for low flow pilot lines. Pressure is trimmed with a lockable rotary knob fitted with a scale, allowing repeatable adjustment without unintentional change. The valve accepts a maximum input pressure of 315 bar and limits the secondary side to 75 bar, so downstream actuators are protected from overloading. Port A functions as the pressure reduction path, and the nominal size 6 interface supports compact manifold layouts. The component handles flow rates up to 50 L/min while tolerating up to 160 bar back pressure in port T(y), maintaining stability during return line surges. These characteristics align the unit with applications that demand tight pressure windows and quick response.
The valve integrates a check valve that permits reverse free flow, enabling cylinder retraction without external bypass components. Pilot oil is taken internally and returned externally, which simplifies supply lines yet allows clean discharge through the tank port. External drainage is achieved at port T(Y) to prevent pressure build-up under the control spool. A G1/4 gauge port, machined 12 mm deep, lets technicians verify secondary pressure during commissioning. Manifold mounting follows the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 pattern and is secured by four ISO 4762 M5-10.9 screws, ensuring correct alignment and load distribution. Sealing is provided by NBR elastomers for compatibility with standard mineral oils.
