The ZDR6DA2-4X/150YV pressure reducing valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth and is part of the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series. It maintains a stable downstream pressure in hydraulic automation lines by throttling flow between the inlet and the pressure reduction port A. Size 6 geometry limits the body envelope and matches CETOP 03 manifolds. A sandwich plate mounting arrangement lets the device be clamped between standard subplates without additional brackets. The porting layout follows ISO 4401-03-02-0-05, ensuring interchangeability with common stack valves. Pilot oil is taken internally from the inlet channel, which eliminates separate feed hoses. Both pilot oil and leakage oil are returned externally through port T(Y), keeping control pressure independent of circuit surges. Pressure is set with a sleeve that has a hexagon head and a protective cap so the setting can be locked after commissioning. The plate omits a locating hole, relying on the manifold studs for alignment.
Version A incorporates a built-in check valve that allows reverse flow when the actuator exhausts. The valve withstands a maximum input pressure of 315 bar while reducing the secondary side to 150 bar. Maximum counter pressure seen at port T(Y) can reach 160 bar without impairing function. A continuous flow capacity of 50 l/min supports medium-sized cylinders and motors. An FKM seal set resists high temperature and aggressive hydraulic fluids. For circuit monitoring, a dedicated pressure gauge port is provided next to the adjustment sleeve. The design keeps inlet and outlet passages short, minimizing pressure loss at rated flow. Combined, these limits and features define the valve’s operating envelope in modular hydraulic systems.
