The ZDR6DA1-4X/75YM/12 pressure reducing valve belongs to the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series from Bosch Rexroth and maintains a controlled secondary pressure in hydraulic automation circuits. The valve is produced in nominal size 6 and mounts as a sandwich plate that follows porting pattern ISO 4401-03-02-0-05, allowing direct stacking in manifolds. Secondary pressure is preset to 75 bar at port A, with fine adjustment available through a rotary knob on the housing. Its pilot oil is supplied internally and returned externally to keep the control flow isolated from the main line. There is no built-in check valve, so reverse flow protection must be provided by other components.
The unit accepts inlet pressures up to 315 bar and handles a maximum flow of 50 l/min while keeping outlet pressure stable. Counter pressure at the return port may reach 160 bar without disturbing regulation, which suits closed-loop installations. A G1/4 pressure gauge port drilled to 12 mm depth permits direct monitoring of the reduced line. The valve can operate in any installation position, provided the hydraulic fluid cleanliness is maintained at ISO 4406 (c) 20/18/15 to avoid spool contamination. These ratings define the operating envelope needed for consistent pressure control in compact hydraulic assemblies.
