The ZDR10VP5-3X/50YMW112 valve is part of the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series from Bosch Rexroth and is installed to hold a stable downstream pressure in hydraulic automation circuits. Its nominal size of 10 (NG10) defines the flow path dimensions, while the CETOP D05 pattern ensures compatibility with common manifold blocks. Direct mounting is possible through the ISO 4401-05-04-0-05 interface so no intermediate adapters are required. Mechanical actuation lets the unit react purely to hydraulic forces, and the sleeve with a hexagon and protective cap provides a manual, tamper-resistant adjustment method. The secondary line is limited to 50 bar at port P1, protecting actuators from excess load.
The valve body contains five ports, giving separate passages for inlet, reduced pressure, pilot, and return lines. Internal pilot oil supply simplifies plumbing because no external feed is needed, while the external TA port vents pilot oil without adding heat to the main flow. It withstands inlet pressures up to 315 bar and passes up to 100 l/min without loss of control accuracy. NBR sealing material withstands mineral hydraulic oils and maintains leak-tight operation. An SAE connection thread speeds assembly in systems built to North American standards, and a G1/8 pressure gauge port allows technicians to verify the reduced pressure. Because there is no check valve, reverse flow is unrestricted when circuit requirements demand it.
