The ZDR10VP5-3X/315YM pressure reducing valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth as part of the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series. It limits and stabilizes downstream pressure in hydraulic automation circuits that use sandwich plate assemblies. The valve is a pilot-operated, three-way pressure reducing unit in nominal size 10, so it fits standard subplates without additional adapters. A porting pattern matching ISO 4401-05-04-0-05 simplifies stacking with other CETOP 05 components. Five hydraulic ports are included, and the spool connects passage P2 to P1 according to the symbol, allowing excess inlet pressure to bypass when the set point is reached. Two switching positions let the spool move between pressure-reducing and unloading states under pilot control. These attributes support compact manifold design while ensuring accurate pressure regulation in servo, clamping, or feed circuits.
Pressure adjustment on the ZDR10VP5-3X/315YM is carried out with a sleeve that has a hexagon head and a protective cap, identified as version 5, enabling secure setting changes in the field. The unit handles inlet pressures up to 315 bar and can maintain a secondary pressure at the same 315 bar when demanded by the circuit. A maximum flow capacity of 100 liters per minute permits use with medium-sized pumps and actuators. Pilot oil is supplied internally while the return can be routed externally, coded Y, which minimizes internal heating when pressure is exhausted. There is no integrated check valve, so reverse flow must be managed by separate components if required. NBR sealing elements contain hydraulic fluids of classes HL, HLP, HLPD, HVLP, HVLPD, and HFC without leakage. Together these features provide reliable, adjustable pressure control across mineral-based or fire-resistant media.
