The ZDR10VP5-3X/100YM pressure reducing valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth in the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series. It regulates hydraulic pressure in automated circuits by maintaining a defined secondary pressure downstream of port P1. The valve operates within a pressure stage of 100 bar while withstanding a maximum operating pressure of 315 bar on the primary side. A nominal size of 10 establishes passage dimensions for medium flow manifolds, and a sandwich plate mounting style permits stacking between subplates. The porting pattern follows ISO 4401-05-04-0-05 for direct interchangeability. Pilot supply is internal and the drain is external in the Y configuration, allowing pilot oil to leave the control chamber without additional lines.
Flow capability reaches 100 l/min, and counter pressure up to 160 bar can be tolerated at the return path without disturbing regulation. The valve accepts mineral oils that meet DIN 51524 HL or HLP, provided cleanliness is held at ISO 4406 20/18/15 to protect internal surfaces. NBR seals contain the fluid and resist common hydraulic oils. Connection threads conform to ISO 228/1 for straightforward pipe coupling. Pressure adjustment is carried out with a hex bushing fitted with a protective cap to guard the setting. No integral check valve is present, so reverse flow must be handled externally. Maximum secondary pressure is limited to 315 bar, preventing damage if downstream circuits experience a pressure surge.
