The ZDR10VP5-3X/100-90YM pressure reducing valve belongs to the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series from Bosch Rexroth and holds downstream pressure in hydraulic automation circuits by throttling flow from P2 to P1 whenever the set level is reached. Its nominal size 10 interface permits compact mounting, and the ISO 4401-05-04-0-05 porting pattern lets the body stack directly on CETOP 05 subplates. No check valve is fitted, so reverse flow must be managed elsewhere in the system. Pilot oil is taken internally and drained externally, preventing return-line backpressure from affecting regulation. The unit withstands inlet pressures up to 315 bar while capping outlet pressure at 100 bar to protect actuators. It passes as much as 100 l/min without instability, tolerates counter pressure of 160 bar at TA or TB, and is secured with a SW30 hexagon tightened to 50 Nm.
The valve accepts HL, HLP, HETG, HEES, HEPG, HFDU, and HFC fluids when viscosity remains between 10 mm²/s and 800 mm²/s. NBR seals retain these media and allow fluid temperatures from −30 °C to +80 °C for dependable cold-start and hot-running service. Maintaining cleanliness to ISO 4406 (c) 20/18/15 limits spool wear and keeps pressure deviation low. A G 1/8 pressure-gauge port offers direct verification of the reduced line, and its location on the P2→P1 flow path simplifies commissioning. The external drain keeps pilot chamber pressure minimal even if return ports face elevated levels, letting the valve deliver precise 100 bar control across the full 100 l/min rating. These features support compact manifolds that demand wide fluid compatibility, stable regulation, and straightforward monitoring.
