The ZDR10VP4-3X/50YM/12 pressure reducing valve belongs to the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series from Bosch Rexroth and keeps downstream pressure constant in hydraulic automation circuits. It uses nominal size 10 passages to support moderate flow while limiting envelope size, and it mounts as a sandwich plate so it can be stacked between a subplate and a directional valve. The porting pattern is ISO 4401-05-04-0-05 for direct interchangeability with standardized manifolds. Pressure is lowered in the P channel, and a rotary knob lets the user set the required value. The secondary pressure is limited to 50 bar to protect actuators. Pilot oil is supplied internally, and the return is routed externally to the tank to prevent cross-port interaction.
The unit tolerates inlet pressure up to 315 bar and a maximum flow of 100 l/min, making it suitable for high-pressure pumps. It remains stable when counter pressure in ports ta or tb reaches 160 bar, allowing use in circuits with elevated return-line backpressure. SAE connection threads simplify pipework, and NBR seals contain the selected medium. A check valve is not included, so reverse flow requires external components. System fluid cleanliness must meet ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 to avoid spool sticking. Accepted media include HL, HLP, HETG, HEES, HEPG, HFDU, and HFC fluids, giving flexibility when fire-resistant or biodegradable oils are specified.
