The ZDR10VB5-3X/200YV pressure reducing valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth within the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series and serves to hold a defined pressure level in hydraulic secondary circuits. It is a 3-way pressure reducing design that controls flow from the B2 port to B1 while venting excess oil to tank when the set point is exceeded. Pilot-operated actuation gives the unit stable regulation across varying loads, and the pilot oil is taken from an internal supply with return routed externally. The valve fits a nominal size 10 interface, and its sandwich plate mounting lets it be installed between standard subplates without extra piping. Connection geometry follows the ISO 4401-05-04-0-05 pattern, ensuring interchangeability with other stack modules. System pressure is adjusted through a sleeve with a hexagon and protective cap, and an integrated check valve in version B allows free reverse flow to protect downstream components.
The secondary circuit can be limited to 200 bar, while the main stage withstands operating pressures up to 315 bar. A maximum flow of 100 l/min supports medium-capacity actuators, and counter pressures up to 160 bar at ports ta or tb do not disturb regulation accuracy. Acceptable hydraulic media include HL, HLP, HETG, HEES, HEPG, HFDU, and HFC, letting the valve work in mineral, synthetic, or water-glycol based systems. FKM seals permit fluid temperatures up to 80 °C without loss of sealing integrity. To preserve the control edge from contamination, the installation must maintain cleanliness class ISO 4406 (c) 20/18/15 or better. These operating limits and media compatibilities allow the valve to maintain reliable pressure reduction in a variety of industrial power units.
