The ZDR10DP3-5X/150YM/12 pressure reducing valve is built by Bosch Rexroth for the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series. It stabilizes downstream pressure in hydraulic automation systems that use modular manifolds. The valve is sized as nominal size 10, matches the ISO 4401-5 porting pattern, and installs on subplates that follow the ANSI B93.7 D05 layout. Adjustments are made with a lockable rotary knob fitted with a scale, enabling repeatable settings on the shop floor. The device relies on an internal pilot oil supply and performs pressure reduction at port P1. During operation it accepts an input pressure up to 315 bar and accommodates flow rates to 80 L/min, supporting medium-power actuators without cavitation or excessive heating.
The secondary side can be limited to 150 bar, and back pressure at port T may reach 160 bar without disturbing regulation. An external leakage oil drain removes pilot flow from the spring chamber to avoid parasitic load. The cartridge is supplied without a check valve, so reverse flow requires separate hardware when needed. A gauge port with an SAE thread offers straightforward connection of pressure sensors for commissioning or monitoring. The unit is intended for mineral oil fluids in the HL or HLP categories and calls for a cleanliness level of ISO 4406 (C) 20/18/15 to protect the throttling surfaces.
