The ZDR10DP2-5X/25YM/12 valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth and belongs to the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series. It serves to maintain a constant reduced pressure in hydraulic automation circuits by throttling the supply flow. This model is a direct-operated pressure reducing unit, so the control spool responds directly to pressure changes without a pilot stage. Its nominal size 10 determines the passage dimensions compatible with medium-capacity systems, while the sandwich plate connection lets it be installed between CETOP stack components without external pipework. The mounting interface follows ISO 4401-05-04-0-05, which aligns the port layout with CETOP 05 subplates. Pressure is reduced in channel P, meaning the supply line is regulated before reaching downstream actuators. Pilot oil is taken internally from the inlet, and the drained pilot flow is returned externally, allowing separate routing to the tank. A sleeve with hexagon under a protective cap provides the adjustment mechanism, making pressure setting straightforward while guarding against unintentional alteration. Because the valve can be mounted in any position, designers have flexibility when arranging manifold stacks.

Secondary pressure can be set up to 25 bar, allowing the valve to limit load pressure in low-pressure branches even when the main line runs at higher levels. The inlet can withstand a maximum operating pressure of 315 bar, so it tolerates common high-pressure pump outputs. Counterpressure at port T may reach 160 bar without impairing function, which suits return lines that do not vent directly to atmosphere. With a maximum flow capacity of 80 l/min, the unit handles medium flow rates typical of auxiliary circuits. A G1/4 pressure gauge port is provided so maintenance personnel can verify the reduced pressure during commissioning and service. To protect the control spool, the permissible oil contamination is restricted to ISO 4406 class 20/18/15. The model is supplied without a check valve, so reverse flow is unrestricted and must be controlled by separate components where required.
