The ZDR10DP2-5X/210YMV/12 valve is built by Bosch Rexroth for the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series and serves to maintain a controlled downstream pressure in hydraulic automation circuits. Pressure is set by a sleeve with a hexagon head and a protective cap, ensuring tamper-resistant adjustment. Because the reduction channel is on line P, the unit modulates the supply passage before it reaches sensitive components. It caps the secondary pressure at 210 bar while accepting an input of up to 315 bar, so branch circuits stay protected even when the main pump runs at higher levels. Pilot oil is taken internally and returned externally, reducing external plumbing yet keeping the pilot flow clean. The sandwich plate mounting style allows the valve to be stacked in modular manifolds, and the ISO 4401-05-04-0-05 porting pattern aligns with standard CETOP 05 interfaces. There is no built-in check valve, so reverse flow must be managed by separate components.
A nominal size of 10 defines the passage dimensions and cooperates with a maximum flow of 80 l/min to suit medium-capacity systems. Counter pressure on the return line can rise to 160 bar without upsetting regulation, and leakage oil is diverted externally through port TA to prevent unwanted case pressure. FKM seal material resists many hydraulic fluids, and these seals remain functional from -20 °C up to 80 °C, covering typical mobile and industrial temperature ranges. The assembly weighs 2.8 kg, so one technician can insert it into a manifold without lifting aids.
