The ZDR10DP2-5X/150YMV/12 pressure reducing valve belongs to the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is installed in hydraulic automation circuits to maintain a stable downstream pressure in channel P even when the inlet pressure fluctuates. The valve has a nominal size of 10 and matches the CETOP D05 mounting pattern, connecting through the ISO 4401-05-04-0-05 interface for subplate installation. Pressure adjustment is carried out by a sleeve with a hexagon and protective cap, allowing precise setting while shielding the screw from contamination. The pressure reduction takes place in channel P, and the spool symbol P2 → P1 labels the internal flow direction during regulation. Pilot oil is taken from the internal supply and returned externally to reduce heat inside the body. There is no check valve incorporated, so reverse flow must be provided elsewhere.
At the inlet the unit withstands operating pressures up to 315 bar while limiting the secondary side to a maximum of 150 bar to protect downstream actuators. Port T can accept counter pressures as high as 160 bar without affecting regulation accuracy. The design passes flows up to 80 l/min, covering medium capacity circuits commonly found in machine tools and test rigs. Compatible hydraulic fluids include HL, HLP, HLPD, HVLP, HVLPD, and HFC so the same cartridge can be used in mineral or water-glycol systems. The FKM seal material permits operation with these media and endures fluid temperatures from ‑20 °C to +80 °C, ensuring reliable sealing during cold starts and continuous high temperature service.
