The ZDR10DP1-5X/150YMV/12 pressure reducing valve is part of the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series from Bosch Rexroth. It is used in hydraulic automation to hold a stable downstream pressure in branch circuits. This direct operated unit is produced in nominal size 10 and bolts to subplates with the ISO 4401-05 (D05) interface. Pressure is set with a rotary knob, allowing on-site adjustment without dismantling the stack. An internal pilot oil supply references the inlet and regulates flow toward the P1 reduction port. The design includes no check valve, avoiding reverse flow bypass. A SAE threaded gauge port lets maintenance crews read system pressure quickly and safely.
The valve accepts an input pressure up to 315 bar and handles flow rates to 80 l/min while capping secondary pressure at 150 bar. Back pressure of 160 bar can be returned through the external leakage oil drain, which is routed to the TA drain port to keep housing loads low. FKM seals withstand hot hydraulic oil and synthetic additives common in modern plants. Fluid cleanliness must reach ISO 4406 code 20/18/15 so that spool clearance is not impaired. These construction details enable precise pressure trimming in compact manifolds where space is limited yet reliability is mandatory.
