The ZDR10DB3-5X/75YM/12 pressure reducing valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series and is intended to stabilize downstream pressure in hydraulic automation. It performs a 3-way pressure reducing function that diverts excess flow to tank when the outlet limit is reached. Direct-operated actuation lets the spool respond without a separate pilot stage, giving quicker adjustment. The valve conforms to size NG10 (CETOP D05) and follows the ISO 4401-05-04-0-05 porting pattern, so it mates directly with standardized sub-plates. A maximum inlet pressure rating of 315 bar and a reduced side limit of 75 bar protect components attached to the secondary port. Flow capacity reaches 80 l/min to suit medium-duty circuits. A lockable knob with a scale allows pressure to be set and secured against inadvertent changes, and NBR seals are fitted to handle common mineral-oil media.
The housing provides five ports, separating pressure, return, service, and gauge connections for flexible manifold design. Pilot oil is supplied internally, while pilot oil returns externally through port TA to keep pilot flow isolated from the main line. Pressure reduction takes place in channel P with the pilot signal derived from port B, which permits load-sensing control over the set pressure. Port T can tolerate counter pressures up to 160 bar without disturbing regulation. No check valve is included, so reverse flow control must be arranged elsewhere in the circuit. A G1/4 gauge port supports direct measurement of the reduced line for commissioning and maintenance. These arrangements allow the valve to regulate outlet pressure accurately within its specified limits.
