The ZDR10DB2-5X/25YM/12 pressure reducing valve is part of the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series and is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is intended to maintain a constant downstream pressure for hydraulic automation circuits. With a size 10 format, it bolts to subplates that follow the ISO 4401-05-04-0-05 interface and supports system inlets as high as 315 bar. The valve limits the secondary line to 25 bar, and this setting is adjusted through a sleeve that has a hexagon head and a protective cap. Pressure reduction occurs in channel P while the pilot supply is taken from B, and the drained pilot oil leaves through an external Y port. A free-flow check valve is not fitted, so reverse flow must be handled by other components.
The unit accepts a maximum flow of 80 l/min and tolerates counterpressure at port T up to 160 bar without losing control accuracy. Maintenance staff can connect instrumentation to the G1/4 port, which is 12 mm deep, to read live pressure values during commissioning. Operation is approved with mineral oils of grades HL or HLP according to DIN 51524, provided the fluid meets cleanliness class ISO 4406 20/18/15. The sealing elements are NBR, and the housing can be mounted in any position, allowing flexible manifold layouts. Reliable function is retained down to ambient temperatures of −30 °C, ensuring suitability for outdoor or cold-room machinery.
