The ZDR10DA2-5X/75YV/12 pressure reducing valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series. It is installed in hydraulic control circuits to hold a stable downstream pressure for automation actuators. The valve is built to ISO 4401-5 (D05) porting dimensions and fits nominal size 10 cavities, so it can replace other D05 subplate components without re-machining. Reduced pressure is delivered through port A2, and an internal pilot taken from the same port maintains feedback control without external lines. The spool follows the A2 to A1 flow symbol, ensuring secondary flow is isolated when downstream pressure rises above the set point. Maximum inlet pressure reaches 315 bar while the secondary side is limited to 75 bar to protect sensitive loads. A sleeve-hexagon adjustment with a protective cap lets maintenance staff set the pressure accurately while preventing accidental changes. These features make the unit suitable for compact manifolds where reliable secondary regulation is required.


For circuit performance, the valve passes up to 80 L/min without losing pressure stability, and an integral check valve admits reverse flow to allow actuator retraction without separate bypass hardware. The body seals with FKM elastomers to operate with mineral oils HL and HLP as well as the biodegradable HETG, HEES, and HEPG fluids selected by many plants. A SAE-threaded gauge port permits simple installation of pressure transducers or analog gauges for condition monitoring. Leakage oil is routed externally through port TA which keeps heat generation away from the main manifold and prevents back-pressure on the control spool. The permitted contamination level is ISO 4406 class 20/18/15, so filtration must be chosen accordingly to avoid wear. A mass of 2.560 kg supports rigid mounting without additional brackets and aids thermal damping during continuous duty. Together, these factors allow the valve to maintain consistent pressure reduction across varied fluids and flow demands.
