The ZDR10DA2-5X/25YMV/12 pressure reducing valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series. It is installed in hydraulic automation circuits to lower branch pressure to a controlled level. The unit is direct operated, giving rapid response to inlet pressure changes, and its nominal size is 10 for compatibility with standard CETOP 05 cavities. The secondary pressure stage is limited to 25 bar to protect downstream actuators, and pressure is reduced through port A as defined by the circuit layout. A maximum input pressure of 315 bar can be applied at port P, allowing use in high-pressure systems. Set pressure is adjusted by a sleeve with a hexagon and a protective cap, which shields the setting from accidental movement. Pilot oil is supplied internally and returns externally through port Y to maintain a clean pilot passage.
The valve accommodates flows up to 80 l/min without exceeding its performance envelope, and counter pressure at port T may reach 160 bar so it can operate in circuits with elevated tank back-pressure. It follows the ISO 4401-05-04-0-05 porting pattern, enabling interchange with other sandwich modules, and the sandwich plate mounting style allows stacking between subplates and directional valves. Four M6 screws to ISO 4762 grade 10.9 fasten the assembly and withstand hydraulic loading. A G1/4 pressure gauge port lets technicians monitor the reduced-pressure line, while system fluid must meet cleanliness class 20/18/15 per ISO 4406. FKM seals resist heat and many hydraulic media, and the configuration includes no check valve, permitting unrestricted reverse flow.
