The ZDR10DA2-5X/210YM/12 valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth and belongs to the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series. It is a direct-operated pressure reducing unit used to maintain stable downstream pressure in hydraulic automation circuits. The valve is built in a sandwich plate design so it can be stacked between subplates and additional directional valves. Nominal size 10 (NG10) provides flow capacity while fitting the ISO 4401 porting pattern common in modular manifolds. The sleeve with hexagon and cap offers an adjustment interface for setting the required secondary pressure. An internal pilot oil supply routes control oil from the inlet passage, and pressure is reduced through port A2. The assembly withstands an input pressure of up to 315 bar without affecting reduction accuracy.
Maximum flow through the valve reaches 80 l/min, allowing medium capacity actuators to operate without excessive pressure drop. Downstream pressure can be limited to 210 bar, and the T port tolerates back pressure up to 160 bar to accommodate return-line restrictions. External leakage oil is drained via channel TA, preventing pilot chamber pressure buildup. The model is supplied without a check valve, so reverse flow must be handled elsewhere in the circuit. NBR seals are used for compatibility with common mineral oils, and a G 1/4 gauge port permits pressure monitoring during commissioning. Total mass is 2.8 kg, which simplifies manual installation inside compact valve stacks.
