The component tolerates a maximum inlet pressure of 315 bar, letting it work on the high-pressure side of power units while still limiting the secondary circuit to 150 bar. Flow up to 80 L/min can pass through the throttling section so actuators receive adequate volume during peak demand. Internal pilot oil supply eliminates external pilot lines, and the regulated flow exits at port A2 to segregate controlled pressure from the main rail.
Pressure adjustment is set with a sleeve that has a hexagon end and a protective cap, which lets maintenance staff fine-tune the setting without exposing the mechanism to debris. The T port can withstand 160 bar of back pressure so return-line surges do not disturb regulation. No check valve is included, meaning reverse flow must be managed elsewhere in the circuit. Achieving ISO 4406 cleanliness class 20/18/15 for the fluid prevents spool sticking and preserves metering accuracy. A gauge port with an SAE thread is provided for direct connection of pressure instruments during commissioning. Leakage oil drains externally to port TA, avoiding unwanted pressure buildup in the housing. NBR seals are fitted to match the mineral oil grades HL and HLP that the valve is designed to handle.
