It limits downstream pressure in hydraulic automation loops while being installed between manifold sections. A sandwich plate mounting format allows the unit to be stacked between other ISO subplates without separate tubing. Leakage oil is routed externally through port TA, preventing pilot flow from re-entering the main circuit. The design tolerates back pressure on port T up to 160 bar, which suits systems where downstream lines may see elevated return pressures. FKM seals resist high temperature and aggressive hydraulic fluids, maintaining leak-free operation over long service intervals.
