It mounts in a nominal size 10 CETOP D05 cavity that follows the ISO 4401-05-04-0-05 pattern, allowing direct installation on common sandwich manifolds. Pilot oil is supplied internally while the return flow is external, ensuring precise control of the pilot stage without contaminating the tank line. A rotary knob provides the adjustment mechanism so maintenance staff can set the required outlet value without tools. Pressure reduction is applied to channel A, limiting that circuit branch as required by machinery logic. The unit delivers a secondary pressure of 25 bar to protect cylinders and motors designed for lower ratings. It withstands an inlet pressure of 315 bar, matching high-pressure pumps used in modern plants. Flow capability reaches 80 l/min, allowing the reducer to serve medium-size actuators without excessive pressure loss.
There is no built-in check valve, so reverse flow must be handled with separate check elements when needed. Backpressure at port T may rise to 160 bar without disrupting the regulated output. Reliable sealing is achieved with NBR elastomers that resist common hydraulic oils. The assembly works with fluid temperatures from −30 °C up to 80 °C, covering cold starts and elevated operating heat. To maintain functional reliability, the oil must meet ISO 4406 cleanliness class 20/18/15, which limits solid contamination in critical gaps. A G1/4 pressure gauge port, machined to a depth of 12 mm, provides a convenient test point for monitoring the reduced pressure during commissioning or troubleshooting.
