The ZDR10DA1-5X/25Y/5 pressure reducing valve is part of the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series and is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It maintains a stable lower pressure in hydraulic automation circuits. Sandwich plate mounting lets the valve be clamped between standard subplates, and nominal size 10 sets the passage cross-section for the interface. The ISO 4401-05-04-0-05 porting pattern keeps hole locations consistent with other stack components. Pressure is trimmed in channel A while flow moves from A2 to A1 according to the symbol. An internal pilot oil supply energizes the control piston, and leakage oil is routed externally through port Y to prevent pressure build-up. Version A contains a check valve that permits reverse free flow. The operator sets the required outlet pressure with a type 1 rotary knob, and a G1/4 connection is provided for a pressure gauge.
System cleanliness must reach ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 so the control edges are not blocked by contamination. NBR sealing elements keep fluid within the body and tolerate standard mineral oils. The valve accepts an inlet pressure of 315 bar and reduces it to a secondary value no higher than 25 bar for downstream actuators. It also withstands backpressure up to 160 bar on the tank line without affecting regulation accuracy. A maximum flow of 80 l/min can pass through the body, giving adequate supply for medium-size circuits. These pressure and flow limits help designers select the correct stack height and pump capacity while ensuring the valve operates inside its rated envelope.
