The ZDR10DA1-5X/150YM valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series. It serves to maintain a stable secondary pressure in hydraulic circuits and is sized as a 10 valve for installation in medium-flow manifolds. An internal pilot oil supply uses inlet pressure to actuate the control spool while an external pilot oil drain returns pilot flow to tank and prevents back-pressure influence. Pressure is reduced through port A, and a rotary knob provides on-site technicians with straightforward pressure setting. The unit withstands an input pressure of 315 bar and limits downstream circuits to 150 bar to protect sensitive actuators.
During operation it tolerates a counter pressure of 160 bar at port T and passes up to 80 l/min without excessive losses, enabling use in power units with moderate pump capacity. The subplate mounting pattern follows ISO 4401-05-04-0-05 and is secured by four M6 screws rated to ISO 4762 strength class 10.9 for reliable clamping. A G1/4 pressure-gauge port with a 12 mm thread depth allows service personnel to verify reduced pressure. No check valve is incorporated, so reverse flow is not blocked by the housing. NBR seals are fitted for compatibility with conventional hydraulic oils, and the assembly weighs 2.8 kg which supports manual handling during maintenance.
