The ZDR 10DP2 valve belongs to the ZDR Pressure Reducing Valves series from Bosch Rexroth and serves hydraulic automation by stabilizing branch pressure inside modular manifolds. It is a direct-operated pressure reducing valve, so the spool senses downstream pressure directly and holds it at the chosen setting. The sandwich plate design lets the unit be stacked between other components without external piping, while the DIN 24340 Form D interface keeps mounting dimensions consistent with European manifold faces. Nominal size 10 (NG10) establishes flow capacity suitable for medium-duty circuits, and the ISO 4401-05-04-0-05 porting pattern positions all passages in line with standard D05 gaskets. Pressure is trimmed in channel P, meaning the pump line itself is regulated before flow reaches actuators. A sleeve with a hexagon head, classified as type 2, forms the adjustment element so technicians can alter the setting with a common wrench.

Mechanical actuation eliminates the need for solenoids or pilot lines, providing a passive control method for systems that only require steady pressure reduction. A maximum input pressure of 315 bar enables the valve to connect directly to high-pressure supplies without risking structural damage. Conformity with CETOP size D05 makes the valve interchangeable with widely stocked subplates, and five ports allow separate inlet, outlet, pilot, and drain connections to be routed through the stack. Because an internal check valve is not included in version P, any required reverse-flow blocking must be arranged externally.
