The Z2S22B1-5X/V is a pilot-operated check valve manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for the Z2S Check Valves series. It supports hydraulic automation by allowing forward flow and locking reverse flow to hold actuators in position. The valve is supplied in size 25 and mounts as a sandwich plate between subplates that follow the ISO 4401-08-08-0-05 interface. An equivalent NFPA pattern, T3.5.1 R2-2002 D08, extends compatibility to North American manifolds. Because the mounting is sandwich style, it can be stacked beneath directional valves without extra piping. The design works in any installation position, while a cracking pressure of 3 bar opens the poppet when pilot pressure is applied. Leak-free blocking is maintained in channel B when the pilot signal is absent. Standard mineral oils that comply with DIN 51524 are acceptable for routine operation.
The valve withstands a maximum operating pressure of 315 bar and permits flow rates up to 450 l/min. The specified plug screw tightening torque is 70 Nm to secure internal components without deforming the housing. FKM seals resist higher temperatures and a broad range of media, including environmentally acceptable fluids that meet ISO 15380 and flame-resistant fluids categorized under ISO 12922. System cleanliness must not exceed ISO 4406 code 20/18/15 to preserve the precision sealing faces. These limits on pressure, flow, torque, seal material, and fluid quality ensure that the Z2S22B1-5X/V delivers dependable load holding and reverse-flow prevention in industrial and mobile hydraulic circuits.
