The Z2S22-2-5X/V check valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the Z2S Check Valves series. As a pilot-operated check valve, it allows controlled flow in one direction and locks hydraulic actuators when reverse flow is present. The sandwich plate design lets it be inserted between subplates without extra manifolds, improving modular stack assembly in hydraulic automation. A porting pattern matching ISO 4401-08-08-0-05 aligns the valve with standard D08 interfaces for quick replacement. Nominal size 25 passages support medium-frame cylinder circuits without throttling. The unit withstands operating pressures up to 315 bar so it can be placed in high-pressure supply lines. A cracking pressure of 5 bar ensures the poppet opens only after preset back-pressure is reached, preventing drift. Standard pre-opening provides a small pilot flow to reduce pressure spikes during unlocking. Cleanliness class ISO 4406 20/18/15 is required to protect the seating surfaces from contamination-induced leakage.

The valve carries an NFPA T3.5.1 R2-2002 D08 mounting footprint so it fits American manifold blocks without adapters. Six M12 ISO 4762 grade 10.9 screws are specified for fastening, which maintains clamping force under cyclic load. Each plug screw must be tightened to 70 Nm to keep the internal pilot passages sealed. FKM seals resist high-temperature mineral oil and reduce swelling in aggressive fluids. Mineral oil conforming to DIN 51524 is the recommended hydraulic medium, ensuring consistent viscosity for reliable poppet response. The valve blocks flow in both channels A and B with zero leakage so actuators hold position when the pump is off. A maximum flow capacity of 450 l/min allows the component to serve large displacement pumps without excessive pressure drop. These characteristics support dependable operation in press circuits that require secure load holding and rapid release under pilot pressure.
