The Z2S16-1-5X/V check valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth within the Z2S Check Valves series and is applied in hydraulic automation circuits to secure loads and control directional flow. It is built with a nominal size of 16 so it fits medium-capacity manifolds, and it tolerates a maximum operating pressure of 315 bar for high-pressure systems. The design carries a maximum flow rate of 300 l/min to accommodate large actuator volumes, while a cracking pressure of 3 bar lets the poppet open with minimal differential. Leakage-free blocking is provided in channels A and B, preventing reverse flow when pressure drops. The valve shares the ISO 4401-07-07-0-05 porting pattern for direct subplate mounting, and it may be installed in any position to simplify circuit layout.
Sealing is handled by FKM material, identified by the “V” code, which resists mineral oil types HL, HLP, HLPD, HVLP, and HVLPD. Fluid cleanliness must meet ISO 4406 20/18/15 so internal surfaces remain free of abrasive particles, and the allowable pressure differential across the valve falls to 210 bar when hfc fluids are selected. The plug screw is tightened to 70 Nm to secure the seat assembly under cyclic load. Flow direction is defined as A1 → A2 and B1 → B2, giving designers clear paths for circuit diagrams. A mean time to dangerous failure of 150 years indicates very low functional risk over extended service life.
