The Z2S10-1-3X/VSO150 check valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth and belongs to the Z2S Check Valves series. It is installed in hydraulic manifolds to allow controlled flow while preventing reverse flow in automation circuits. With a nominal size of 10, it fits D05 cavities where medium flow rates are required. The valve opens from channel P so operators can use pressure at the P port to pilot the poppet. A cracking pressure of 1.5 bar provides rapid response with minimal energy loss during opening. Leakage-free blocking of channels A and B protects downstream actuators from unintended movement. Pilot ports X and Y are present, enabling external control for pressure override or venting functions. There is a pre-opening function that cushions the poppet to reduce switching shock.
The porting pattern follows ISO 4401-05 (D05), allowing direct mounting on standard subplates. Maximum operating pressure is 350 bar so the valve can work in high-pressure industrial presses or injection machines. It supports a maximum flow of 160 l/min to handle moderate volume circuits without excessive pressure drop. Viscosity limits range from 2.8 to 500 mm²/s, giving compatibility with a broad selection of hydraulic fluids. The FKM seal material resists heat and synthetic oils encountered in modern systems. Permissible fluid temperatures extend from –20 °C to 80 °C, covering cold-start and elevated-temperature operations. A cleanliness class of 20/18/15 per ISO 4406 is specified to keep the poppet and seat free from abrasive wear. Together these parameters define reliable service life in automated clamping, molding, and forming equipment.
