It is a pilot-operated check valve, which allows reverse flow to open when a pilot pressure signal is applied, ensuring controlled release of hydraulic energy. The valve is built in a sandwich plate design so it can be stacked between subplates and directional valves without extra piping. Its porting pattern follows ISO 4401-05-05-0-05, allowing straightforward mounting on standard CETOP 5 interfaces. Four ISO 4762 M6-10.9 screws secure the unit to the manifold, providing the clamping force needed for high-pressure sealing. The check section opens at a cracking pressure of 1.5 bar, so small pilot pressure levels are sufficient to initiate flow. Once open, the flow path can pass up to 160 l/min at operating pressures up to 350 bar, matching medium to high-duty actuator demands.

The valve can be installed in any orientation, simplifying layout in confined blocks or machine frames. FKM seals are fitted to withstand common hydraulic oils and maintain elasticity under thermal cycling. Fluid temperatures from -20 °C to 80 °C are permitted with the FKM sealing package, covering cold start and normal operating conditions. The hydraulic medium should exhibit a viscosity between 2.8 mm²/s and 500 mm²/s to keep internal leakage low and response consistent. A cleanliness class of ISO 4406 20/18/15 or better is required to prevent pilot orifices from clogging. These limits ensure dependable behavior across extended service intervals and variable operating environments, complementing the flow and pressure capabilities outlined above.
