The Z2FS6-5-4X/2QV valve belongs to the Z2FS Throttle Check Valves series from Bosch Rexroth and is applied to meter flow on the A and B pressure lines of hydraulic actuators. With a nominal size of 6, the metering orifices suit compact circuits while keeping pressure losses low. The sandwich plate connection allows the valve to be stacked between a subplate and directional controls, and its ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 interface guarantees direct bolt-on alignment inside CETOP 03 manifolds. Four ports are available so the throttle function can be inserted without additional piping, and the internal spool can assume two switching positions to route flow according to the symbol A1→A2, B1→B2 or its reverse direction. Mechanical actuation shifts the spool without pilots for simple, fail-safe operation, while a maximum operating pressure of 350 bar and a rated flow of 80 l/min let the unit handle medium-sized cylinders and motors. All throttling elements are arranged on the A and B sides to maintain identical characteristics in both directions.
Flow rate is adjusted with a spindle that features an internal hexagon and a scale, letting maintenance staff repeat settings accurately after service work. Hydraulic cleanliness must not exceed ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 to keep the throttling gaps free from contamination and ensure consistent response. The valve can be installed in any position because no gravity-dependent parts are present, and it is supplied without a locating hole so machine builders can orient the body freely within the stack. FKM seals are fitted to withstand common hydraulic oils and elevated fluid temperatures, and the assembly weight of 1.2 kg places minimal load on manifold tie bolts while still providing the stiffness needed for high-pressure duty.
