Z2FS22-3X/S2V

The Z2FS22-3X/S2V is a throttle check valve manufactured by Bosch Rexroth in the Z2FS Throttle Check Valves series. The component is intended to meter return flow and isolate pressure peaks in hydraulic control circuits. It comes in nominal size 25 so it matches manifolds designed for medium to high flow machines. A sandwich plate mounting layout allows stacking between subplates without extra piping, and the porting pattern follows ISO 4401-08-08-0-05 to keep interchangeability with standard CETOP 08 interfaces. The valve accepts a maximum operating pressure of 350 bar, while the differential limit on water-glycol fluids reaches 210 bar to protect internal throttling edges. Flow capacity is rated at 360 l/min, enabling use on large actuator lines. Throttling acts on the discharge direction, identified as version S2, and separate throttle check elements are fitted on sides A and B so both service ports can be individually controlled within the same sandwich block.

Adjustment is performed by a spindle with an internal hexagon, and the wrench cavity is sized at 6 mm to suit a standard SW6 key, letting maintenance staff set the orifice without disturbing stacked modules. When the setting is finalized, a tightening torque of 25 Nm applied to the SW22 lock nut keeps the spindle locked during vibration. Six M12 bolts in accordance with ISO 4762 secure the valve to the stack and transmit load evenly across the gasket. Sealing against hydraulic media is provided by FKM material identified by the V code, ensuring compatibility with higher temperature or aggressive oils. The assembly must be installed in systems cleaned to ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 so that particulate contaminants do not damage the metering gap. No external corrosion protection is applied to the body, therefore the block should be used in cabinets or treated environments to prevent rust.
