The Z2FS10-3-3X/V valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the Z2FS Throttle Check Valves series and is applied in hydraulic automation to meter flow and damp pressure surges. Flow is set through a lockable rotary knob with a scale, giving precise and repeatable adjustment. The unit withstands operating pressures up to 315 bar and passes up to 160 l/min, supporting medium-capacity actuators. It accepts mineral oils of type HL or HLP as defined in DIN 51524 when viscosity remains between 10 and 800 mm²/s. Operating with FKM seals, the valve handles fluid temperatures from –20 °C to +80 °C. Cleanliness must reach ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 to avoid wear on throttling edges.
The valve mounts on subplates using the ISO 4401-05-04-0-05 pattern; port centers are set at 80 × 70 mm, and the mating surface must hold 0.01 mm flatness per 100 mm to ensure sealing. It weighs 3.1 kg and contains no pilot oil ducts, which keeps the housing compact and simplifies manifold drilling. Installation can be in any orientation, giving freedom when arranging stack valves. FKM sealing also permits the use of biodegradable HETG, HEES, or HEPG fluids in accordance with ISO 15380. For fire-critical circuits, flame-resistant HFDU or HFC fluids per ISO 12922 are approved. These fluid options and mechanical traits allow the Z2FS10-3-3X/V to regulate return and pressure lines across diverse hydraulic machinery.
