The 4WP6J6X/ spool valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the WP Pneumatic Spool Valves series for directional control in hydraulic automation. Pneumatic actuation moves the spool when a pilot air pressure of at least 4 bar is present and maintains stable shifting up to 10 bar. The unit operates with mineral oil types HL and HLP and is manufactured in nominal size 6 to fit standard subplates. Ports a, b, and p tolerate operating pressures to 315 bar, while the internal passages carry up to 60 l/min without excessive pressure loss.
The return port T is rated for 160 bar, and the mechanism supports 7200 switching cycles per hour for rapid duty cycles. To protect internal clearances, fluid cleanliness must remain at ISO 4406 class 20/18/15. The valve bolts to manifolds using the DIN 24340 Form A pattern, interfaces with NFPA T3.5.1 D03 blocks, and aligns with the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 porting layout. Seal lands are ground to a maximum Rz surface roughness of 4 micrometers to maintain leak-tight performance throughout its service life.
