The 4WP6D6X/O valve belongs to the WP Pneumatic Spool Valves series from Bosch Rexroth and directs hydraulic flow in automated machinery. Its spool is pneumatically actuated, so the pilot circuit must supply at least 4 bar and may not exceed 10 bar. Control air enters through a G1/4 pilot port, and the pilot chamber volume of 4.24 cm³ defines the duration of each shifting pulse. Because there is no spring return, pressure is required to move the spool in both directions. A maximum switching frequency of 7 200 cycles per hour accommodates high-speed sequences, while horizontal installation keeps internal passages correctly oriented.
The hydraulic passages use nominal size 6 and allow up to 60 l/min of oil. Ports A, B, and P withstand 315 bar, whereas port T is limited to 160 bar, permitting different line ratings on supply and return. The body attaches to subplates with an ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 interface and seats against a 42 mm clamping length. NBR seals are fitted for compatibility with mineral oil, and the system fluid must remain at or cleaner than ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 to prevent wear.
