The H-4WMM22H7X/F directional spool valve belongs to the WM Directional Spool Valves series and is produced by Bosch Rexroth for switching flow paths in hydraulic automation circuits. It is manually operated through a hand lever, and the spool travels through an actuating angle of 2 × 24.5°, enabling two stable flow positions. A detent holds the spool in its selected position until the operator moves the lever again. The valve provides four ports to support common pressure, tank, and two work lines, and the nominal size is 25 to suit high-capacity manifolds. It mates to manifolds by way of the ISO 4401 mounting interface, while the porting pattern follows DIN 24340 Form A.
Operating limits reach 350 bar on the pressure, work, and pump ports, and the tank port withstands up to 250 bar. The channel geometry accommodates a maximum flow of 450 l/min when fluid viscosity stays within 2.8 to 380 mm²/s. Ambient conditions can vary from −30 to +80 °C, and the same −30 to +80 °C range applies to the hydraulic fluid temperature. Acceptable oil cleanliness is ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 to protect the spool and sealing edges. A drain line connected to port Y is required whenever tank pressure exceeds 160 bar, preventing seal overload. Because the installation position is unrestricted, the valve can be oriented horizontally or vertically inside manifolds.
